EVENTS & CLASSES
Education is a big part of what we do here at New Earth Farm. That is why we partnered up with non-profit organization, Community Development International (CDi). We are pleased to offer a wide variety of educational and fun classes for both children and adults. Sign up for one of our classes to learn a new skill, or just come out to have fun!
Our classes and events always sell out quickly, so if you’re interested in one, don’t delay signing up!
FARM TO TABLE
Join a local chef for a hands-on cooking class with an emphasis on local produce and seasonal, wholesome and delicious ingredients! Learn new techniques in a friendly class right here where some of the ingredients are grown. Then enjoy a beautiful dinner, which you helped prepare, in the Learning Garden.
Our Food Lab classes are a fun way to get creative with your food. Various instructions teach participants the basic science and techniques of food preservation, including fermenting and pickling. You can also learn how to make kombucha at home, or find out more about charcuterie.
The Farm Lab classes aim to educate the public on sustainable farming methods and empower our community to participate in slow food movement. Classes include everything from gardening, compost making and soil preservation to beekeeping and wild foraging.
